![]() ![]() It gave me the option for 5.1, but the surround wasn't working. At first, I thought that the Realtek Audio on my PC was telling me that I couldn't configure the headset for surround sound by just plugging in the headphone jack. Ditch it completely, the Logitech software that you're supposed to use in conjunction with the USB adapter just doesn't cut the mustard. Apparently, the problem lies in the USB adapter that comes with the headset. I need the sound to be much, much, much louder.ĮDIT: I solved the problem. With everything cranked up to the highest settings, even with the master settings on the PC up way high, it's still not loud enough. Quality wise, the sound is fine, but the volume on the other hand is extremely tame. Everything is up to date, and I've done some experimenting with both the normal and advanced equalizer. I've updated the firmware, and downloaded the software.
